Terms of Participation

Acceptance

These terms apply to every company, player and visitor engaging with the COPA Corporate Football Championship and this website. Submitting a registration, entering a squad or attending a matchday constitutes acceptance. If you register on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

Registration & verification

Companies must complete the official registration journey, including submission of a valid commercial registration and a letter of authorization. All information provided must be accurate and current. COPA Corporate may verify any submission and may decline or revoke a place where information is false, incomplete or misleading. Places are limited to 48 verified teams and allocated on a first-come, first-verified basis.

Squad eligibility

Each squad comprises exactly 10 players: 7 starters and 3 substitutes. Players must be aged 18–55 and in active employment with the registering company, verified at registration and again at matchday accreditation. A maximum of one external (non-employee) player is permitted per squad. Fielding an ineligible player results in forfeiture of the affected matches and may result in removal from the championship.

Code of conduct

COPA Corporate operates a zero-tolerance standard. Violence, abuse of officials, opponents or spectators, discrimination in any form, and any attempt to manipulate a result are grounds for immediate sanction. Every player, official and supporter represents their company — conduct on and around the pitch is treated accordingly.

Discipline & appeals

Match officials' decisions are final on the pitch. Off the pitch, a disciplinary panel reviews incidents, applies sanctions from warnings to expulsion, and records outcomes transparently. Companies may appeal a disciplinary decision in writing within 48 hours; the appeals decision is final and binding.

Liability, insurance & waiver

Football is a physical sport played at participants' own risk. Medical teams and ambulance standby are present at every matchday, but each company is responsible for confirming its players are fit to compete and for maintaining any employee insurance it considers appropriate. To the extent permitted by law, COPA Corporate is not liable for injury or loss arising from voluntary participation, except where caused by its proven negligence. Registration includes acceptance of a participation waiver on these terms.

Media consent

Matchdays are professionally photographed and filmed. By participating, companies and players consent to the capture and use of their name, image and match footage in championship coverage — including highlights, galleries, social channels and press materials. Players who require an exemption must notify us in writing before their first matchday.

Intellectual property

The COPA Corporate name, logo, letterform system, trophies and all championship materials are the property of COPA Corporate. Participants may reference their involvement in the championship but may not use COPA brand assets for commercial purposes without written permission.

Changes

We may update these terms to reflect operational, regulatory or competitive requirements. Material changes are notified to registered companies, and the current version is always published on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through the championship's appeals framework falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom. Questions about these terms: hello@copacorporate.sa.
